Could enter the University of Texas at Austin?

GPA: 3.8-3.9 Status: 42 of about 650. I'm in the top 10%, but only 10 or 15 slots. AP classes: My plan is to take AP Calculus, AP Physics, AP Psychology, AP English 4, AP English 5. *** All classes have are taking or plan to take honors or AP, except for Spanish and history courses because I'm terrible at them. read: 610 Sat Math: 530 SAT writing: 590 *** Be they are kind of low, but are results of my second year, I have time to be still up, I'm taking a preparation course. Who is demanding UT happen and I want to be a great architecture which is even more competitive in this field. I am very nervous. Tell me honestly what you can, how likely is that they're going to take?

You did not mention if you are a resident of Texas. If so, what used to be that if you fall in 10% of their class are guaranteed admission to UT. However, the rules have changed recently with respect to UT Austin, which now only required to fill 75% of its slots open for first year students the top 10%. There are no hard numbers available to demonstrate how this will affect the income from which 10% of their classes, but will have to keep place at least. In fact, you may want to get even further to ensure their place. His SAT scores are on the low side, so definitely consider more and have it again when you feel ready for them. He has not spoken about his extracurricular activities to make sure you are on top of that, with a lot of volunteer work and clubs and organizations. If you are not a resident of Texas, UT is only allowed to have 10% of its incoming class as the state's residents, so we really need to excel in their studies, SAT scores and extracurricular activities. In applying to UT, you actually choose two or three schools and rank them by order of preference for admission (eg, business, liberal arts, etc) and that's how you get admitted. You can try to later transfer to the school want (Business is the most competitive and difficult to enter).

  1. I’m extremely inspired together with your writing abilities and also with the format on your blog. Is that this a paid theme or did you customize it your self? Anyway keep up the nice quality writing, it is rare to see a great weblog like this one today.
