What is the best city in Spain to study abroad?

I'm leaning towards Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia or Granada. What is the acceptance of foreigners and also the most use of Spanish (Catalan is fine but I'm more fluent in Spanish). I also prefer the least expensive of the four but do not want to limit either. I am interested in culture and history more than the nightlife, but I wouldnt mind a rich nightlife, as well:) thanks in advance

Barcelona is a city partttaaaye! But def. is also rich in culture, tons of cathedrals and no Gaudi's art everywhere! I think Barcelona would be great for study! You can not go wrong with Barcelona! Spent about a week in Barcelona loved it! All the world I know who has been in Barcelona I loved it! Madrid is nice too! It is a beautiful city and Toledo is near! I've never been to Valencia or Granada (nor have I heard talk much about it) … could be even more interesting that you never get bored in Barcelona! It's expensive but … Do not know where he is, but the euro: dollar ration is high, ie what you buy, there will be twice dollars more!
