What book History of the Philippines for Zaide is best?
I want one, good book concise. Morga's work is good, but I want a book of perception Filipino. No Spanish. Also, how much it costs.
The best book by Dr. Gregorio Zaide is the book History of the Filipino people, published in 1964. Even a niece who is a friend of mine recognizes that this is the best. Unfortunately, this title is no longer available in the country's largest book store, National Book Store. I in line with the National Book Store and the SEARCA title with zero result. Not used copies can still be purchased through the network. I saw one of those listed in 33.00 U.S. $
