Murcia Festivals Make Spanish Holiday Villas Magnificent

After the Holy Week processions are the Fiestas de Primavera. The month of May sees the town Cieza in Murcia crossings full of flowers for the Day of the Cross.
The period between June and December has the town of San Javier hosting many festivals. These include jazz, theater, music and dance. For even more variety, there are celebrations of All Saints Day in Calasparra. They have everything from dancing Outdoor and floats to rice tasting and even a bullfight.
In the municipality of Torre Pacheco, the Fiesta del Melon each July celebrates the cultivation of melons. In August, the quiet little town of Aledo hosts festivals to commemorate its history. September is Murcia gives to its citizens and visitors to the Fair of Murcia a festival filled with concerts, bullfights and a popular procession.
