The first answer is A. The Spanish wanted to convert the Indians. Missions were like churches. (Although this is the reason that built the mission to convert Native Americans, they were definitely more interested in gold.) The second answer is C. There is no Northwest Passage, by the way, but everyone thought it should be and keep searching. Ironically, global warming, soon there will be a passage from the Arctic regions due to melting glaciers. I am 100% sure of the answers.
