Polygala balansae, bush back in Europe, in danger of extinction in Spain Researchers have studied the natural history and conservation status Spain's only known population of Polygala balansae in Europe, a thorny shrub that can reach up to 1.5 m in height, which was thought until now exclusively in Morocco. The team of scientists is calling for it to be protected and included in the list of endangered species.
