Have you ever gotten a dirty text message by accident? Did you tell your spouse?
There’s this overweight woman at work who is always text messaging, but she’s not careful. She sent out a couple of texts to the wrong people recently. One was to another co-worker that was in Spanish (he doesn’t speak that language and laughed it off publicly), and then I got one that read, “I can’t wait to be next to your hot naked body.”
This woman is a subordinate and much younger than me, and has a boyfriend. Obviously it was intended for him, as she already had a history of errant texting.
I figured the easiest tact was just to delete and not tell anyone. Pretend I never got it.
Why stir up an awkward conversation with the woman? Why upset my over-jealous wife?

I told you not to tell anyone! The words that I texted to you were from my heart. How dare you talk of me this way??
*stomps off to the other room*
I just sent you another text.
