Spanish History About The Philippines
AP U.S. History of questions (multiple choice)?
John Hay described the Spanish War in Cuba as "a splendid little war" because: a. The war united the American public. BUS victory in the Philippines came so easily. C.it added a large number of American citizens? and Republicans in power? United States. DHE victory in Cuba was so quick and easy. E.hardly some soldiers who died of tropical diseases. Okay I know about the Spanish-American War of 1898 lasted only a few months and the Spanish defeat led to the U.S. annexation of the Philippines, Cuba and Puerto Rico. This question is difficult because it could be either D or B because the war was short and fought in both those places. But I think that's a trick. I'm pretty sure which is not D or A. Can anyone tell me what you think about this? John Hay was Secretary of State and helped negotiate the Treaty of Paris which ended the War of Spanish Cuba.
His B, I remember this issue when it was the third year in high school.
